Before we dive into a comparison between Supermetrics & PowerMyAnalytics, one must remember that both products have a different origin story. Supermetrics started as a solution to pull data from Google Analytics to Excel. PowerMyAnalytics started as a data import tool INTO Google Analytics. Years pass and both platforms offer connectors that allow you to pull data from various ad networks and data sources to Google Data Studio, but you can still consider one as an alternative for the other, though you should notice your needs.
There’s one major difference between these two platforms. Supermetrics is focused on analytics, social media, and ad network data sources, while PowerMyAnalytics focus on e-commerce data sources (eBay, Amazon, etc.) and for some reason does not even have Google Ads connector. Weird.
